The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.

Retention time

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.

Therefore:

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
  • Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Owner.

The Owner may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, the Owner may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.

Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.

    The services contained in this section enable the Owner to monitor and analyze web traffic and can be used to keep track of User behavior.

The rights of Users

    Who collects the personal information
    The BIO Agency Limited (‘Company’) is a ‘data controller’ and gathers and uses certain personal information. This personal information is also used by our affiliated entities and group companies, namely Tech Mahindra Plc and its subsidiaries (our ‘group companies’) and so, in this notice, references to ‘we’ or ‘us’ mean the Company and our group companies.

    Where personal information may be held
    Personal information may be held at our offices and those of our group companies, and third party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents and in cloud-based IT services which could include countries that do not have data protection laws equivalent to those in the UK, for the reasons described above. We have security measures in place to seek to ensure that there is appropriate security for personal information we hold.
    How long we keep your personal information
    We keep the personal information that we obtain about you during the recruitment process for no longer than is necessary. How long we keep your personal information will depend on whether your application is successful and you become employed by us, the nature of the personal information concerned and the purposes for which it is processed.
    We will keep recruitment personal information (including interview notes) for no longer than is reasonable, taking into account the limitation periods for potential claims and our contractual obligations to others, after which they will be destroyed. If there is a clear business reason for keeping recruitment records for longer than the recruitment period, we may do so but will first consider whether the records can be pseudonymised, and the longer period for which they will be kept.
